Collimated UV Light sources
Adroit Materials has developed a high power light source emitting broadband ultraviolet collimated beam with a power density more than an order of magnitude higher than conventional UV LEDs sources. The device emits at 280 nm with output power of >500 mW (pulsed) or 250 mW (cw), a divergence of 3° and a volume of 12 cubic inches. Operational lifetime exceeds 1000 hrs operating at 30V and 500 mA.
Avalanche photodiodes
Adroit Materials has developed a compact and efficient avalanche photodiode (APD), operating between 210-250 nm. The detectors are solar blind, highly sensitive, smaller, less expensive, and more robust than typical, commercially available UV detectors.
