Our Mission
We provide state of the art crystal quality and client-specific material properties thanks to our unparalleled control of alloy composition and doping. We are focused on the development and deployment of III-nitride technology based on high quality native AlN and GaN substrates as well as sapphire.
Adroit Materials was spun out of North Carolina State University in 2012. Zlatko Sitar, President and CTO, has a proven track record of technology commercialization and of building teams that can bring sophisticated products to market.

Our technology
The Adroit Materials portfolio encompasses epitaxial growth, doping, strain management, and contact control that can be leveraged by our clients for superior electronic and optoelectronic device performance. We are able to offer our customers access to the full AlGaN alloy composition range from AlN to GaN to within ±1% of the desired composition. With best in class dislocation densities films grown on native substrates, we are also able to provide conductive templates with free carrier concentrations suitable for a variety of applications.
